ABOUT

Dan Kinsella, the new owner as of May 1, 2018, and the established team, are committed in providing the same high quality cabinet work our clients have been accustomed to, under the new name: Calderwood Millwork.

Dan, Mike and the team look forward to continuing the relationships with architects, designers, contractors and long term clients that we have developed over the last 34 years and also to build new relationships as Calderwood Millwork moves forward.

Yoffa Woodworking works closely with architects, designers, contractors and homeowners to insure ideas are communicated and understood by all involved and can be executed to achieve the desired result. We take pride in developing relationships with clients throughout the project. Because of our extensive knowledge of wood species, grain patterns, finishing techniques and design background, we can assist in selecting the materials and finishes which will enhance each project to make it unique.

The Yoffa Woodworking philosophy is based on craftsmanship, not mass production. Our pieces maintain their integrity, finish and beauty for years to come. Cabinets are fitted by hand to insure a perfect fit. Our finishing involves hand sanding to accept the final finish with no machine marks. Our team works together in an efficient, comprehensive manner that allows us to be competitive, but still maintain our craftsmanship ideals.

Yoffa Woodworking began in 1984 and over the years has had work shown in RI Monthly, New England Home, Dwell and Architectural Digest. Our furniture has been shown in galleries in Boston MA, New Haven CT, Newport RI and Jamestown RI.
